ABOUT CN

The story begins in Shanghai , in June 2006 ; two expatriate friends, open the first PLATANE boutique in the very charming and lined tree street of Yongfu Lu, in a neighboring area of the former French concession.

Shanghai 2008 ; Laetitia Charachon continues the brand’s story and launches a second larger store, in the lively enclave of Taikang Lu, close to Tianzifang. And the story goes on in Beijing ; in June 2011 PlataneTM opens a “shop in a shop” within the “Rouge Baiser” boutique, in the “chic” and international district of Sanlitun.

The Platane stores create a unique atmosphere by subtly blending the Chinese culture heritage with the modern lifestyle. From the beginning, Platane has combined traditions, worldwide design, home wares and fashion accessories in a very distinctive simplicity and elegance.

The eclectic ranges showcase Platane’s editions as well as imported foreign brands selected for their high quality or design.
Each customer’s visit is a shopping experience in a unique retail space where he discovers original and trendy products that cannot be found yet in China.

Responsibilities
- Sell products, make additional sales
- Record sales, wrap items
- Restock shelves and make sure merchandise are presented neatly with prices on

- Reliable, flexible
- Sales experience mandatory

Conditions
- At lease 4400 RMB /month (Before tax, include social insurance package)
- Full time: 40 hours/week
- Bonus before Chinese New Year: up to one month of salary
- Official National Chinese holidays
- 1 week paid holidays after one year of seniority

PLATANE' S "SHOP IN A SHOP" IN BEIJING
On the 23rd of May, Platane set itself up in the Rouge Baiser shop in Beijing. The concept is a “shop in a shop”. Indeed, Platane takes space in Rouge Baiser’s store, one of its faithful partners. These two brands complement each other to offer you a range of product for a modern and elegant lifestyle.
The shop is situated in Sanlitun, a very “chic’ part of the city, and a very popular and international area.

TEA EVENT
The 23rd of April 2011(Saturday), at 15:30, Platane organized a tea tasting event in its Taikang Lu store. The aim was for people that enjoy drinking tea, to get to know the Chinese tea culture, and have a great time all together.

PROCESS:

1. Brief introduction about different types of tea (green tea, black tea, re-fermented oolong, lightly fermented oolong) and different places of origins.

2. The process of tea producing.

3. The right way to brew tea and how to enjoy it.

LYNE WANG:

Lived in Paris for 20 years, specializing work with teaculture for over 15 years, Miss Lyne walked over tea gardens all over China include Taiwan region to find the best quality tea. She personally selected the tea-producing areas, selected tea farmers, and got familiar with profound Chinese tea culture during them. With very high demanding on the quality of tea, plus her early years of medical background, each tea have been on rigorous testing to ensure its excellent quality.

Around fifteen persons came. Some were customers, other journalists, and the rest of the audience were people coming because they liked tea, of by a stroke of luck while doing there shopping in Taikang lu.
